FISHERMAN RIB HAT - CHILD SIZE
Wednesday, October 11, 2017I have the perfect project for your little one! It is fun, easy and quick to make. The best part? Aside from it being so dang cute, it looks like an advanced knitting project...but it's not! If you watch my video tutorial on how to make it, I promise a beginner will be able to knit this beanie. Everyone will be wanting this hat. Trust me. The adult version is one of my most popular beanie video tutorials. The reason why I'm making this child size version is because I had a huge amount of requests to do so. Link to Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fisherman-rib-hat

4 sts x 9 rows=2” in k1, p1 rib
This Beanie is made in the round starting at the bottom and decreasing at the top. Attach a pom pom to give this beanie more of a statement.
Note: Luckily I have a 7, 5, and 3 year old on hand so I was able to try the beanie on all of them. It fit the 5 and 7 year old the best. If I were to make it for my 3 year old, I would repeat at least 4 rows less than what my patterns says.
