This next hat is made very similar to my last one, but it
definitely has its own look.
It's not as polished, but more of a fun casual feel to
it. I love it!
There are two different versions of this hat. The first one comes in
sizes Newborn, baby, toddler, child, big kid, teen, adult, and large adult! (This
is the version I made a video tutorial on showing you in adult size).
The second version is a chunky thicker yarn with much larger
sized needles. It’s so comfy and warm!

- Size US 17 (12mm) Circular Needles (16” or smaller) *MY FAVORITE!!!* Worth every penny, and you save $$$ because you can do everything with them!
- Size 5 Bulky yarn (64 yds.) I used Bernat Roving in Squashed
- Stitch Marker
- Tapestry Needle
Gauge:
5 sts x 7 rows=2” in K1, P1 rib
Abbreviations:
CO - Cast On
K1 - Knit 1
K2tog - Knit two together
K2tog - Knit two together
P1 - Purl 1
P2tog - Purl two together
Pm - Place Marker
Pm - Place Marker
Rnd - Round
Sts. - Stitches

CO 34 loosely Sts. - Stitches

Pm, join to knit in the round.
Rounds 1-2: k1, p1 to end of rnd.
Round 3: Purl all stitches
Fitted Version: Repeat Rounds 1-3. End on Rnd 27.
Slouchy Version: Repeat Rounds 1-3. End on Rnd 42.
Decrease Round 1: k2tog, p2tog to end of rnd. (17 sts)
Rnd 2: k1, p1
Rnd 3: Purl
Finishing
Cut a 7" tail, weave through remaining sts.
Tighten, tie a knot and weave ends.
