I know this seems like the silliest video ever, but I remember when I first started knitting I didn't know the right way to use the skein or how to find the other end of the yarn. I used the end of the yarn that was on the outside, which means I had to take off the label and my ball would move around like crazy and get little bits of lint (and hair) that was on the floor. Super annoying, gross, and not fun! The best way to use your ball of yarn is to use the end of the skein that is on the inside. Sometimes it's just sticking out on the side, but sometimes it's a little harder to find. Here's how I find the ends of the yarn.
