  1. Hi, this turned out great! Did you use the full 5 skeins per the pattern? It looks smaller on you than the woman on the Purl Bee website. Thanks!

    1. Hey, Thanks! I did use all skeins. Just a little bit left over. Wish there was more so I could make another project with the really soft yarn. Have you started making this?

  2. How complicated would you say this project is, for a beginner? I have basic knitting skills, but I've never really used patterns before, just straightforward knitting to make scarves and such.

    1. I don't think it's that complicated. Have you watched the knit-along I made on this? I think that'll give you a good idea if it's too hard or not if you watch it.

  4. Love your blog! If I use different yarn for this pattern do I need to get a different amount of skeins? Or is it fairly the same? I there a typical length of all skeins? (I am a beginner as you can probably tell.)
Also, when we get to the end of one skein, how do we begin using the second one?
    Thanks!

    1. Thanks Savannah! Not all skeins have the same amount of yards in them. So you have to check how many yards it says you need for the pattern, then whatever yarn you want to use, get enough yarn for it. Let me know if you need more help.

So what I do to begin another skein is i get both ends and make a square knot, so right over left, then left over right. This knot shouldn't slip out if you do it correctly. But make sure your ends are around 3 inches long so you can weave them in when your finished

  5. That looks so beautiful! Congrats on your work! I'm wondering if you used the exact same needles recommended by the Purlbee website (#17, 32inch, circular needle). I can't find 32 inches, only 29inches. Do you think that will be a problem? Thanks a lot!!! Helena.

    1. Thank you! I love it! I'm pretty sure I did them on 29 inches and it worked out perfectly! Good Luck!
