KAPRI SWEATER KNIT-ALONG
Saturday, October 12, 2019
I have so many projects that are in my queue err my head lol so I forget about these projects that I've already started and either didn't finish, needed to updated it, or just didn't release it. Well, around 3 years ago, I made this beanie with such a cool design(I WILL make a pattern for it) but my focus was on making another mermaid blanket version since I had this yarn I needed to use. But I just kept thinking about how cool and unique it would be to make the design on a sweater! So, the beanie and the mermaid blanket will wait...but for now, I hope you all enjoy this knitted sweater! Thank you for those who have been so patient with me releasing this pattern. After I made it in size medium, I just wanted to see it in many sizes. That takes a loooong time to figure out all the different sizes and making sure it all works. I had some amazing testers to knit the other sizes for me (THANK YOU!!!), and I couldn't be happier with the results! Love having this knitting community!

I wanted to make a video tutorial for this sweater with the instructions on the video so it makes it easier to follow along, so I decided to make the size medium for free! You can find it right here on my blog. If you want the .PDF version that has all the other sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) including the medium, click here.
It was so hard to come up with a name for this sweater. The design reminded me of waves and beautiful elongated bird wings, so it made me think of being by the sea or the ocean. I decided to name it after my daughter Kapri and think it fits perfectly. I hope you love and enjoy knitting this sweater as much as I do. Please post your sweater on Instagram so I can see yours and share it with everyone else! #kaprisweater #iknits
You can buy the inexpensive ad-free PDF pattern on my Shop HERE that has ALL SIZES of this sweater and on Ravelry.
