Boy UGGs
Monday, April 01, 2013I hope all of you had a very Happy Hoppy Easter! Are you ready to make some cute booties?! The Girl UGGs and Boy UGGs are worked the same way, except the Girl UGGs has a top ribbing, and the Boy UGGs has the trim.
I tried a few ways to make the trim. Threading long ways and duplicate stitch did not look good at all! Don't waste your time! Then I got on Ravelry, and looked through how other people made the best looking trim, and this is how you make it. I used a crochet hook size K, chained for around 10 inches, then sewed it on the boot! This is also a lot easier than the other ways I tried before.
Watch Girl UGGs Part 1 and 2 to make the boy UGGs.
Part 1: CO, Rows 1-9
Part 2: Instep
Part 3: BO, trim

Hi Christine!
ReplyDeleteI am now following you in friendship (purehunnybee).
I saw one of your you tube videos and thought I'd come and visit. I just started knitting in November of 2012 so Im pretty new at it all but I am so loving to knit!
Its so neat because I made the braided scarf as well on my second knitting project. I found that pattern on Ravelry I believe and loved how unique it was. Yours is beautiful too!
I made mine in baby Alpaca (I just have to weave in all my loose ends ;)
It was fun!
I look forward to getting to know you here!
(Come and visit...I blog as well )
All my heart,
Deborah
