When I was living in Utah, I all of a sudden saw TONS of girls wearing these headbands. I thought, "Those are SO cute, i have GOT to figure out how to make one!" I first searched online, and didn't find any free patterns I liked. So I went to a store and bought the headband and did my best to make my own pattern. It took me FOREVER(I am not a pattern maker), but it turned out FABULOUS!!!

  1. Do you have any particular brand of yarn that you prefer/which one are you using in your videos? Thanks!

  2. I am so sorry I didn't write back sooner! I just used this really old wool yarn that I got from this lady that was selling all her yarn so, it didn't have a name, but I've used all different kinds of brands to make these. Impeccable, lion brand Vanna's Choice,...just as long as it's worsted weight, it should work great!

  14. This pattern is a gem! Thanks for taking the time to post the tutorial. It is simple and clear to follow. My mom (also a knitter) bought one for me recently and I just love it. Like you, I thought I could knit some up. I looked online and found your blog! I was so happy! They make super gifts and you can knit a matching scarf if you like. Starting my third one now.
