THE ZEV BEANIE - KNITTING TUTORIAL AND FREE PATTERN!

What an end 2018 was! I started posting my videos on my Facebook page, over 105 videos in December. It was a lot of work! That's why I haven't posted anything on my blog for a while and with all the holidays and birthdays. I loooove having my videos on FB. It is a lot more personal, you can post pictures in the comments and it's just a lot easier to interact with one another. But I am still going to post on YouTube, don't worry! Things have finally slowed down a bit and I was able to work on a new pattern. and it's a FREE .pdf pattern with a video tutorial too! 

I was inspired by my little man..he is 4 years old, has lots of energy, spunk, and just so much cooler than I am. So, I decided to name it after him! This is the Zev Beanie!

I wanted a variegated yarn of white and gray and couldn't find anything in size 6 super bulky, so I held my yarn double with this yarn and it turned out great! 

This beanie is made in the round from the bottom up. Decreased at the top to give it a fun and edgy pointy style. 
Available in sizes Kid and Adult.

Materials I used:

• Size US 15 (10mm) 16" Circular Needles 

*MY FAVORITE!!!* Worth every penny, and you save $$$ because you can do everything with them! 

Size US 15 (10mm) DPNs or a longer cable needle (to use when your circle gets too small to go around your 16" cable) *I made my 16" cable work, if you'd like to see how I did that, watch my video tutorial*

Size 6 Super Bulky yarn - for kid size (92 yds.) and adult size (95 yds.)

(Another option is to use size 5 bulky yarn and hold the yarn double) I used Loops & Threads Charisma Heather in Light Gray
