HOW TO KNIT THE DANDELION STITCH | PATTERN AND PHOTO TUTORIAL

As you may already know, I posted a video on how to make this adorable beanie that I am obsessed with! But if you just want to know how to make the dandelion stitch, I made a separate video tutorial for that. Here's a shorter video on my Instagram and Facebook page.

This is what it will look like. Then for the next row, you will have to decrease the extra stitches.

DANDELION STITCH (in the round):

Rnds 1-4: Knit all stitches.

   (At the end of Rnd 1, Knit the last 2 sts. together(k2tog). (41 sts)

Rnd 5: K3, Flower, *K4, Flower* repeat to last 2 sts. K2.

Rnd 6: K2, (K2tog, K1) twice, K2tog. *K3, (K2tog, K1) twice, K2tog* repeat to last 2 sts. K2.

Rnds 7-10: Knit all stitches.

Rnd 11: K7, *Flower, K4* Flower* repeat to last 3 sts. Flower.

   Note: you will go to the next round (2sts) to complete the 4^th Flower.

Rnd 12: K4, *(K2tog, K1) twice, K2tog, K3)* repeat 4 times.

   Note: you will go to the next round (2sts) to complete the 4^th Flower decrease.

Repeat Rnds 1-8.

Materials

• Size US 15 (10mm) Circular Needles (16” or smaller)    
• Size 6 Super Bulky yarn (85 yds.) I used Cloudborn Highland Roving Yarn in Antique White
