CROCHET PINEAPPLE MONOKINIThursday, July 07, 2016
It is so refreshing to make something for the summer since I usually make everything for fall/winter time. I really wanted to make a swimsuit because I've never made one before, and the crochet/yarn suits are in style. I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would find a really cute knitted swimsuit, but I didn't have any luck. I wanted to make a swimsuit that would be flattering for different body types so this is the pattern I chose! I really love how it turned out. I sent it to my sister in Houston and as she tried it on, I need to make a few adjustments, (add more rows for the lace waist part, fix the cups).

MATERIALS I USED:
-Size 3 Sport weight yarn (492 yds.) I used 2 skeins of Cotton Fair - Turquoise

There are some corrections in the written pattern that I double checked with the designer. I'm not sure if she will change it on her pattern so I will post a pic of the corrections here:(Rows 87, 88, 91)
