Cable Slippers (KNITTED UGG BOOTS)

Monday, October 07, 2013

A few weeks ago, I posted on my facebook wall different options on which socks you all wanted me to make a video tutorial of. There was an OBVIOUS winner! The majority chose these cute little red riding hood slippers! I'm not surprised, because they're cute, and a mix of a sock and a bootie. How much better can it get?! It's the adult version of this baby bootie! I haven't finished it because I need to go buy some more yarn, but a lot of you are anxiously waiting for the video so my pics will come later! This pattern was pretty vague in some parts so I feel this video is mandatory! There's a part where all it has is a diagram to follow. I don't know about you, but I like to follow written directions instead. So, I wrote it out for you below. I hope DROPS design likes it. Let them know that I made this video and how much it helped you! Love you guys! and Happy Knitting! Oh and PLEASE! PLEASE!!! PLEASE post a pic on my facebook wall of the projects you make! I loooove to see how yours turned out and it makes me want to keep making more and more tutorials :)

Materials I used:
-Size 5 Super Bulky Yarn - I used Loops & Threads Charisma in red, OR this is basically the exact same in Bernat Softee Chunky.

    1. I used a super bulky yarn. and I have a cable needle set, so I'm not exactly sure the size, probably 14" long.
