Campout Fingerless Mitts
Tuesday, November 27, 2012So many of you have asked me if I could make mittens, fingerless gloves, some kind of hand warmer. I was trying to find a pattern that would be easy for someone who has never knitted before, and found this pattern. I love that it's thicker on the palms so if your holding your hot cup of yumminess, your hands will stay toasty ;) Click here for my video tutorial!
This is the one I made
There's lots of different ways to make these mittens:

My daughter wants me to make these for her but wants a "flap over part" that makes them into mittens when your fingers get cold. I've only found one pattern that was very bluky, not form fitting like your fingerless gloves. Would it be hard to make the flap and attach later or should I keep searching for a better pattern?
ReplyDeletedo you use two circular needles of the same size or just one?
